On Monday, Dec. 11, the Natchitoches Parish School District received a bomb threat regarding Natchitoches Junior High School and L.P. Vaughn Elementary School. All students, faculty and staff are safe. Both campuses were evacuated and a thorough investigation is being conducted by law enforcement. NPSB conducted early dismissal for both schools. Parents began up their child 10:15am. All students riding a bus were transported home beginning at 10:30 a.m. NPSB officials are working closely with law enforcement officers and will update parents once the investigation is concluded.
