Calvin. Braxton Sr., of Natchitoches, has lost an appeal he filed on May 4, 2023. That appeal stems from a suit Braxton originally filed in May 2018 against the Louisiana State Troopers Association (LSTA) and then Region 3 La. State Police Major Jay Oliphant regarding various defamation claims. Braxton lost that case also.
