On Friday, Oct 20, Outpatient Medical Center (OMC) will host a Dental Open House to showcase its newly opened dental services. The open house will be held at OMC’s facility in Natchitoches, located at 1640 Breazeale Springs Street. The event will begin with a presentation at 9:30 a.m., followed by open house until noon.
Visitors can meet OMC front desk staff, administrative team, dental clinic staff, and members of the Board of Directors. Additionally, attendees can tour the dental department, and learn about the services offered.
OMC reopened its dental services on Aug. 3. OMC Board of Directors member Doris Hullaby was the first patient served.. “The care was excellent,” said Hullaby, “I am so glad to see an accessible service like this in Natchitoches.”
Many people may have insurance but no coverage for dental or very limited coverage. Those without dental insurance may apply for a sliding fee discount. Discounts may range from 20 to 100 percent of full charges. A patient who is below the federal poverty level is never refused services due to an inability to pay.
“After months of hard work and planning, OMC is proud to offer dental services of this level to the Natchitoches community, and to serve the underserved,” said OMC’s Chief Operations Officer, Richard Bruce.
It is as easy as making one phone call to schedule a dental appointment with OMC. Calling 318/3572060 directs to a voicemail box where callers are asked to leave their name, phone number, and address. Patients will be called back in order to schedule an appointment.
