An article in the July 23, 2026 edition of the Natchitoches Times about a financial advisor free on $300,000 bond” states that “Waskom Brown was established in 1999. It was cofounded by David Waskom and Nettles Brown. However, earlier this year Brown retired and even moved out of the office.”
Brown actually resigned from the company in July of 2023. The Times regrets the error.
