  • Leanna Lanford was crowned Miss Louisiana Volunteer and Ava Martin was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen Volunteer Saturday night at NSU’s Magale Hall. This was the first time Miss Louisiana volunteer, a preliminary of Miss America volunteer, was held in Natchitoches. The Miss Volunteer America is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.
