Deputy and police chief respond to delivery truck, save the day

    At approximately 12:49 p.m on March 15, the NATCOM 911 Center received a call from an Amazon delivery driver reporting a hazardous situation while delivering packages in west Natchitoches Parish. The driver’s GPS directed him onto a muddy, dirt road where he almost flipped his vehicle, a 2010 Hyundai Elantra loaded with Amazon packages.
