Ninety one percent of folks have paid their annual Natchitoches Parish property tax bill equating to $36,481,674.94 collected. That leaves $3,530,981 to be collected.
The remaining nine percent have until Jan. 31 to pay the bill to avoid late penalties.
While the bill was due by Dec 31 the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff gives folks a grace period before assessing one percent per month penalties.
