Fate steps in to send ‘Joe the Plumber’ to the right job

Friends, family and customers turned out Feb. 24 to recognize the retirement of an esteemed citizen known by many as “Joe the Plumber.”
Rutledge Plumbing owners Bill and Nancy Rutledge hosted a lunch and reception for Joe Robinson who is retiring after 38 years with the company. Many customers needing plumbing skills would simply call plumbing company and just ask for Joe.
