Several clean-up efforts will be held to help enhance the Jackson Square Cemetery. Dating back to the late 1800s, The Jackson Square Cemetery is one of the older cemeteries in the parish where African-Americans are buried.
The cemetery is located in the Jackson Square community in west Natchitoches encompassing North, Howell, Thomas and Gibson Streets.
