On June 20 at approximately 5:30 p.m., detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Winn Parish Sheriff ’s Office to investigate a deputy-involved shooting that occurred on St. John Street in Winnfield.
One subject was shot and transported to a local hospital. No deputies were harmed during the incident.
