Republican Attorney General Jeff Landry will be the next Governor while other statewide races are headed to a November runoff. Landry garnered 52 percent of the vote, Democrat Shawn Wilson took 26 percent, followed by Stephen Waguespack at six percent and current treasurer John Schroder at five percent.
