Louisiana crews deploy to Florida for recovery effort
Crews from Bossier City, Monroe, Chase, Alexandria,Lake Charles and Baton Rouge were part of the LaDOTD effort to assist hurricane victims.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has mobilized crews from across the state to assist the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in recovering from the impact of Hurricane Milton.
In total, DOTD has deployed 53 personnel with 84 pieces of debris removal and hauling equipment from six different districts across Louisiana.
