The City Council introduced an ordinance at its meeting Monday that calls for improvements to the Mill Street District Riverbank. The City, Cane River Waterway Commission and the Cane River National Heritage Area (CRNHA) will enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement to increase recreational opportunities and access to Cane River through developments on the right descending bank on Mill Street.
