Ava Martin, Miss Louisiana Teen Volunteer made the top 10 at Miss America volunteer in Jackson, Tenn. last weekend. Ava who is from Minden, was crowned in January at NSU’s Magale Hall. Natchitoches is home of the Miss Louisiana volunteer pageant. Ava was one of 50 other young ladies, one from each state, competing.
