The rain and cooler temperatures have just about ended the blooming season for azaleas but knockout roses are growing just about everywhere in Natchitoches as are pansies. Perennial flowers come back every year, as they grow from plants that survive through the winter. Annual plants grow flowers for one growing season and don’t come back every year.
