NSU closes due to city water issues

Northwestern State University’s main campus in Natchitoches  dismissed classes at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 due to low water pressure, possible water outages and issues with City of Natchitoches water that could affect the campus.  The campus  remains closed for the rest of the day.  
NSU’s Child Development Center, Elementary Lab and Middle Lab Schools  dismissed at 11:15 a.m. 
Classes at NSU campuses in Shreveport, Alexandria, Leesville/Fort Polk and Marksville took place as scheduled.  
Iberville Dining Hall  remained open for lunch hours.  Chik-Fil-A on University Parkway closed.  
Students should monitor NSU’s social media channels and www.nsula.edu for the current information on the closure and possible reopening.
