Parish President John Richmond lifted the burn ban for Natchitoches Parish. While the recent rain has not alleviated dry conditions, President Richmond is encouraging residents to use extreme care while burning materials, whether in contained or open areas, and if not necessary then by all means wait until sufficient rainfall.
