Save the Date of Sept. 26 when Natchitoches will continue to observe America 250 with a patriotic celebration of an historic event at 9:30 a.m.
Fort St. John Baptiste State Historic Site and the Cane River Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will host the event at the fort on Second Street. Highlight of the event will be an re-enactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
