    Luke Niedens of Queen City, Texas, is the inaugural recipient of the Richard and Shirley Jennings Scholarship, awarded to a student in Northwestern State University’s School of Creative and Performing Arts. The scholarship honors a couple who embodied selfless service, a strong work ethic and a commitment to music education.
