Sheriff’s Office joins agencies in observing National Police Week

  • A memorial wreath, donated by Jeanne’s Country Garden of Natchitoches, was displayed during the ceremony to commemorate Deputy Ricky Ray Issac Jr.’s sacrifice. Following the event, the wreath was returned to Natchitoches Parish and placed at Deputy Issac’s memorial cross located on Louisiana Highway 1, south of Cypress.

    Natchitoches-Sheriff Stuart Wright and the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Office joined law enforcement agencies across the nation in recognizing National Police Week, observed May 11–17, and Police Officers Memorial Day on May 15.
