The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Shondrika Robertson, a 46-year old black female of Natchitoches, on the charge of terrorizing. Robertson is employed by the Natchitoches Parish School Board as assistant principal at M.R. Weaver Elementary School.
According to the NPD,on Nov. 18 Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of Dixie St. shortly after noon for a suspicious package delivered to the residence. Upon arrival the caller said someone placed a voodoo doll with a threatening message on her porch.
Following an investigation, Roberson was placed under arrest without incident. She was charged with terrorizing and was transported to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
The state of Louisiana defines terrorizing as the communication of information that the commission of a crime of violence is imminent or in progress or that a circumstance dangerous to human life exists or is about to exist, with the intent of causing members of the general public to be in sustained fear for their safety; or causing evacuation of a building, a public structure, or facility of transportation; or causing other serious disruption to the general public.
