Backbone Fire in Kisatchie still burning, 2,409 acres gone

Fire personnel continue to battle the Backbone Fire in the Kisatchie Hill Wilderness. As of Sunday, some 2,409 acres had burned. US. Forest Service officials say the fire is 58 percent contained.

JT doesn’t think that California Governor Gavin Newsom is that far off base trashing Shreveport for its crime rate. Shreveport IS a dangerous city. Statistics may indicate there’s less crime and murder but part of the reason is because people are staying out of certain high crime areas of town.
