NPSO arrest local realtor for alleged fraudulent practices

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested local realtor Rodrick T. McIntosh last week following a criminal investigation.The investigation began after a former client reported alleged fraudulent practices.

Natchez council finally passes sewer increase

The fourth time was the charm. The Village of Natchez council unanimously gave its nod to increasing sewer rates. Such action took place during the regular meeting on March 6.Beginning April 1, residential sewer rates will increase from $20 to $37.

Early voting is March 15-22 (excluding Sunday, March 16) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.The deadline to request an absentee ballot is March 25 by 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters).

Drop in water pressure prompts boil water advisory

Hwy 3191 from LA 1 Bypass to Smith’s Garage Road, Texas Street from Hwy 1 Bypass to Welch Street, LA 1 North from Texas Street to White Oak Lane within the City of Natchitoches Distribution System experienced a water outage on March 10, in the above-mentioned area of the water supply system.
