Moving 2 schools, Goldonna, on board agenda at town hall

The March Natchitoches Parish School Board (NPSB) Committee is taking place Thursday, March 6, at 5 p.m. in the Natchitoches Junior High-Frankie Ray Jackson School gymnasium. Following the regular committee meeting, there will be a Town Hall starting at 6 p.m. at the same location at 1621 Welsh St.

Lesche Club holding adult art contest

Entry forms are available for the Lesche Club of Natchitoches’ Fine Arts Contest for Adults. The contest is open to those at least 18 years of age.Entry forms can be picked up at the Natchitoches Art Galley, Natchitoches Parish Library and Campti Branch Library beginning March 1.

Register for 4-H summer camp

Sibley Lake boat ramps closed

Sibley Lake is closed until further notice. The boat ramps on Sibley Lake are closed due to high water levels. A notification will be posted when the ramps reopen.

Jaycees support Special Olympics

The Natchitoches Area Jaycees presented a donation of $500 to Northwestern State University’s Presidential Leadership Program, the organization that annually hosts the Red River Games of the Louisiana Special Olympics.
