Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign on go through New Years

The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission is sponsoring the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign through Jan.1 to deter people from driving while impaired. Louisiana Law enforcement agencies will have extra patrols dedicated to finding and arresting drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Armed robbers take deposit bag and cell phone at local store

Natchitoches Police are investing an armed robbery. On Dec. 23 around 9:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Dollar Tree in the 900 block of Keyser Avenue in reference to an armed robbery.
