Northwestern State Opera Theater to perform ‘Die Fledermaus’

The Northwestern State University Opera Theater Ensemble will present Johannes Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” on Nov.. 15-16 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall.Admission is $5. NSU, BPCC@NSU and Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts students will be admitted free with a current student I.D.

Honoring a WWII hero this Veterans DayEvery Veterans Day Kenneth Penrod takes out a box of memorabilia chronicling his father’s 20 plus years in the military that began with WWII. Charles W. Penrod enlisted into the U.S. Army at the age of 18.

Graves scholarship will support biology and microbiology graduate students

The Northwestern State University Foundation announces the Anne Barry Graves Endowed Superior Graduate Scholarship, a new fund dedicated to supporting graduate students in the Department of Biology and Microbiology.
