NSU giving drone training to Fort Polk

Unmanned drones play an increasingly significant role in military operations and Northwestern State University’s ARGO (Advanced Remote and Geospatial Operations) Lab recently provided training to a group of Fort Polk soldiers seeking to learn the basics of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations.

Parc Natchitoches announces closings for maintenance

The City of Natchitoches announces the closure of portions of Parc Natchitoches on Wednesday, April 8, through Friday, April 10, for pavement preservation work.The Parc is scheduled to reopen about noon Friday.Beginning around 7 a.m.

A love fund for Richard Adkins has been established at City Bank and Trust, Natchitoches, to help with out-of-pocket expenses related to his hospice care. Richard is known and cared for by many people from all walks of life and from all over town, especially in the music community.
