Port warehouse among sites listed for funding to promote FastSites

Natchitoches Parish Port Warehouse and ARQ Red River are among 19 sites moving forward in Louisiana’s inaugural FastSites round, marking the largest coordinated site investment effort in state history and redefining how Louisiana competes for high-impact, nationally sought-after projects.

Phlebotomy technician training class to begin March 17 at NSU

A phlebotomy technician training class will be offered by Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education in Natchitoches starting March 17. The class will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the classroom on the second floor of South Hall.

NCHS Class of 1976 to hold reunion

The Natchitoches Central High School Bicentennial Class of 1976 will celebrate its 50- year anniversary beginning on Friday evening, May 22, and will progress to a semi formal affair on Saturday evening, May 23, at6:30 p.m. in the Natchitoches Event Center.

Reading on the River is March 14

The Service League of Natchitoches will host Reading on the River, an annual community literacy event promoting the importance and enjoyment of reading outside of the classroom, on Saturday, March 14. The event will take place on the Natchitoches Riverbank from 10am-2pm.
