Cancer Center announces new leadership for North Louisiana

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center announces new leadership for its locations in North Louisiana. Kim Hicks will now serve as the center administrator for sites in the region and Ericha Jarvis, BSN, RN has been promoted to program director for North Louisiana.

NSU will hold Private Investigator Training Course March 13-15

Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education will offer a 40Hour Basic Private Investigator Training Course on March 13-15 and 20-22 in the second-floor classroom of South Hall on NSU’s Natchitoches campus.The class will be on Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

NSWCD tree & shrub sale next week

The Natchitoches Soil and Water Conservation District (NSWCD) will be hosting its Annual Conservation Tree and Shrub Sale March 11 and 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the vacant lot at the corner of St. Clair and Williams avenues in downtown Natchitoches. NO pre-sale orders this year.

Free yoga classes continue at library

The Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) is giving the community a free opportunity to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and learn something new, all at the same time. As part of its ongoing Health & Fitness Series, the NPL’s Main Branch is hosting free weekly yoga classes every Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

Clara Springs’ fish fry dates

Enjoy a great time of fellowship at the Fourth Friday Fish Fry. Clara Springs hosts this event every month except for July, November, and December.During this time attendees can meet fellow believers in Christ from all over Louisiana, tour the camp grounds, and even visit the Gift Shop.
