The City

The City recently began work on South Williams Dr. to replace castiron water lines with new PVC pipe to improve water quality. This project is part of a broader ongoing $17 million initiative to upgrade aging infrastructure to eliminate brown/yellow water, and to improve water safety and water pressure. Pictured is a water line break on Wednesday morning that shot water up several feet. City crews were called in to make the necessary repair so work so the contractor could continue.
