Heaven must be joyous. David Dean Rachal, 78, beloved husband and father is in Heaven. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at: Brookhaven Funeral Home 894 Natchez Dr NE Brookhaven, MS 39601 Monday, Feb. 16, with visitation from 1 until 3 in the afternoon, followed by a Catholic Service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, with a private family burial following.
With faith in God, a love for his family, he accomplished so much in his lifetime and lived a full rewarding life. He was from Flora, LA and was a long time resident of Prairieville,LA. He served in the National Guard, retired from Exxon/Mobile Pipeline Company and continued working for Exxon in other countries.
Later he began raising Brahman cattle; if you saw him on a tractor or in the pasture with Brahman cattle, you know he enjoyed it. Most of his favorite times was spent at his cabin in the woods of Mississippi. So many good times were had traveling and skiing with grandchildren.
We will strive to honor his memory by living a life with values, integrity, respect, showing love and kindness as he did.
He is preceded in death by his Flora family; Father JD Richard Rachal, Mother Florentine Rachal, Brother Richard Rachal, Grandson Casey Rachal.
We trust in the Lord, have faith and will forever cherish our memories.
