Nursing students go hands-on for Kiwanis Club members

A class of Northwestern State University nursing students in firstlevel clinicals and Associate Professor of Nursing Dr. Shaun Wheat spoke to the Natchitoches Kiwanis Club March 12 to discuss their experiences with hands-on nursing and applying textbook knowledge to a real clinical setting. Afterwards they conducted blood pressure checks and visited with club members one-on-one.
