The Big Hair Affair at Parkway Cinemas Saturday

The Big Hair Affair at Parkway Cinemas Saturday night was deemed a success as locals and tourists dressed as Dolly Parton for the costume contest prior to the showing of Steel Magnolias. A sing along to a half dozen of Dolly’s greatest hits was led by Natchitoches’ own the Amazing Rhythm Disciples. Other weekend events inspired by Dolly’s unforgettable role as Truvy were Bingo, Karaoke, brunch and more. Organizers are already planning next year’s event.
