The City of Natchitoches would like to inform residents and motorists of temporary road closures scheduled to allow crews to safely install holiday lights in preparation for the upcoming Christmas season.
The following road closures are scheduled:
Wednesday, Oct. 14
• 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Jefferson Street, from Front Street to University Parkway.
• 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: North end of Front Street, from Church Street to Lafayette Street.
Thursday, Oct. 15
• 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Washington Street, from Front Street to Texas Street.
• 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Church Street, from Front Street to Third Street.
Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly, use alternate routes, and exercise caution when traveling near work areas. All closures are subject to change due to weather conditions or operational needs. The City of Natchitoches appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as crews work to prepare downtown Natchitoches for the holiday season.
