Trinity Episcopal Church at 533 Second St. is holding its annual Blessing of the Animals in the church courtyard on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. There is no charge and all are invited. The event coincides with Feast of St. Francis of Assisi which commemorates the life of St Francis, who was born in the 12th century and is the patron saint of animals and the environment.
