It was blue skies and sunshine Sunday, Oct. 1, as gentlemen and friends of the Krewe of Excellence Natchitoches met to celebrate King Excellence IX, Dr. Oghale Elaye.
Hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Oghale Elaye at the 18hole “Demon Hills” course at the Northwestern Hills Golf Course, the rolling hills and water hazards made each round a challenging experience.
The inaugural “Royal Rascals” event is to become an annual event hosted by the Krewe to celebrate each newly crowned King Excellence and peers from across the Mardi Gras family.
Members and guests from all throughout the state enjoy friendly competition, fellowship over tasty fare ,and vied for some awesome prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers. The Krewe and its members extend their sincere thanks to everyone who participated and made the day a resounding success.
