The Ben D. Johnson Educational Center hosed the ‘I Tried’ Awards Banquet on Oct. 19. The purpose of this event was to honor the life and legacy of Ben D. Johnson Sr. by sharing The Legacy Workforce Development Program’s successes from the past year and giving recognition to people in the Natchitoches community for their remarkable achievements and emphasizing community support.
