Gentry Threet killed her first deer with a .308 rifle while hunting near Winnfield on Dugdamona River with her grandfather, Steve Sanders. He says it was not only her first deer but was also the first time she had fired the rifle. Gentry is 12 and lives in Little Rock, Ark. She is the daughter of Rachel and Aaron Threet.
