The USDA Forest Service has lifted the fire restrictions on the Kisatchie National Forest. Rainfall across the forest has provided sufficient moisture levels to reduce the risk of wildfire. Fire restrictions have been in place for the Kisatchie National Forest for over four months as drought conditions were extreme and fire danger was high.
