In a split decision the Village of Natchez awarded the contract to build its temporary town hall to Rhodes Construction. Giving the nod to the $186,000 contract during the special called meeting on March 18 were alderman Sheila Johnson and McKinley Hoover. Alderman Monique Sarpy was the lone no vote.
