At the Parish Council meeting Monday, President John Salter said he plans to meet with members of the Cane River Waterway Commission to discuss options for the possible resurfacing of Patrick Road.
In 2023, the Louisiana Legislature passed a bill that allows the Commission to assist Parish Government with maintenance of roads that are part of the Parish road system and that access Cane River Lake.
