Chief Rodger Collum of the Butte Tribe of Bayou Bourbeaux and his granddaughter Aurora, traveled to a nearby distribution center to purchase 50 portable fans for delivery to tribe elders, people with disabilities and others in need. The project was described as a call to action for tribe members to donate and deliver essential items to those in need to ‘Beat the Heat’ this summer.
