Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Deputies, Natchitoches Parish Fire District #1 and Louisiana State Police were on the scene of a fire on I-49 south near milepost #124 south of Cypress Monday at 1:25 p.m. Deputies said the fire was hay being transported by a commercial vehicle. Southbound lanes were shutdown and diverted over to La. Hwy 1 via/I-49 exit 127. No injuries were reported. All lanes were open by 8 p.m. NPSO Photo
