A Path Less Traveled

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts (LSMSA) dedicated “A Path Less Traveled,” a new public art sculpture honoring native Caroline Dormon. Dormon was an American naturalistist and writer who was a pioneer conservationist and was part of the project to establish Kisatchie National Forest.

“We wanted to create a place for students to sit and meet. To this end, we designed multiple tall ‘trees’ with boulders and a path to make a space where people can go to meet friends or read a book.” Jennifer Madden
