At the Parish Council meeting in August, the members introduced an ordinance adding a new section to the charter that authorizes hiring more employees to assist the Council members in carrying out its duties and responsibilities. Those employees will serve at the pleasure of the Council and with a majority vote, the Council can set the salaries of those employees.
