So many children and families have been blessed by the free services of the Child Advocacy Program-CAP. In 2024, we provided guidance for 3,680 children and families in our community. We were also able to teach 59 guardians evidenced based Trust Based Relational Interventions to improve outcomes for their children. An additional 45 child victims received individual counseling support.
As crime and violence have risen locally, immediate intervention and support are more important than ever! Our Child Advocacy Program services include child abuse prevention, domestic violence victim supports, children’s support groups, child victim identification trainings, bullying prevention, and counseling support for child victims and their parents at no cost to them.
