The LA Lightning 12U team hosted the Demon Diamond and Devotion Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 20. at Northwestern State University’s Prather Coliseum to benefit the NSU Demon Baseball Team. The event, held from 9–11 a.m., brought together families, players, and community members for a morning of faith, fellowship, and support.
The program began with Cole Gentry, LA Lightning parent, leading the team and families in prayer before the event kicked off. Then t attendees enjoyed an autograph session with the 2025–2026 Demon Baseball Team. Guests received branded autograph cards and had the opportunity to meet each player in a lineup of introductions. Thanks to donations from several local businesses, the Natchitoches Boys and Girls Club also attended the event, giving local youth a chance to experience the special morning.
Dr. Matt Endris, Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church, shared background on NSU and the baseball program before leading the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer over the gathering. Guests then enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, water, and coffee before the formal program began.
