Sunday, Old Bethel members sang happy birthday to Dorothy Gibson, Liz Durr and Malcolm Durr. Those having birthdays in November not present were Don Montet, Taran Smith, Judy Montet and Bo Walker.
Sunday, Bro. Wayne Salley was sick so he asked a man that had been coming to church to bring the message. The man was Bro. Richard Partridge. He brought the message from Mark 5:16 and 15. After he read the scripture, he said that he really was interested in what caused the man to be like he was. Was it how he was treated while growing up. He must have been in trouble with the law and been arrested for him to be chained and shackled.
The man had pulled the chains apart and the shackles were in pieces. He lived alone. He was depressed and angry. He did himself harm by cutting himself with stones. He was hopeless. He was demon possessed.
