Memorial services for Alvin Roy Lloyd, 72, of Saline, LA were at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Creston, LA with Bro. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Lloyd was born July 19, 1953 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away May 20, 2026.
Alvin was a loyal truck driver for 51 years. In his spare time, he loved gardening, especially caring for his roses.
He was a loving husband and cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Katie Lloyd; and two sisters, Nancy Gallien and Ladelle Lloyd.
Mr. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Lloyd; four children, Sam Lloyd and wife, Jen, Michelle Lloyd, Josh Lloyd and wife, Sherri, and Micah Lloyd and wife, Pepper; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Gates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
