Dorothy “Daisy” Forest Curry was born in Natchitoches Parish, Nov. 26, 1951, to the parentage of the Late Mr. Lee Arthur Forest and her surviving mother, Ms. Ocie Williams Forest.
God called her home on Dec. 10, 2025, in Natchitoches, LA.
She confessed Christ as her personal savior and was baptized with Pentecost Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. Joe Williams.
A celebration of her life and homegoing will be on Dec. 20 at Pentecost Baptist Church in Natchez, LA. Visitation will be from 10 a.m to service time.
Those who survived her and will treasure her memories are four daughters: Beverlon Curry Helaire of Natchez, Karen Curry of Natchitoches ,Merita Curry Woodard (Charles) of Houston, TX and Anna Forest of Shreveport, LA; one God Child, Marvin Arthur: one brother, Anderson Forest (Vanessa) of Desoto, TX; six sisters: Henrietta Byrd, Rozelia Carpenter, Ethel Forest, Annie Forest, and Shelia Johnson (David), all of Natchez; Lee Ethel Forest of Dallas, TX, one Bonus Sister, Daisy Tignon of Natchitoches and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
